"This heat, this heat's bad, a man is not responsible for what he does in this heat." - Suspense
Summertime brings picnic, bike rides, barbeques, fireflies, and hot, hot weather. When the weather outside heats up, so does the drama, crime, and even comedy in old time radio. The Heat Wave collection features your favorite radio programs and performers as they wilt under the steaming heat of summer:
Fibber McGee has a get rich quick scheme selling umbrellas
Can Ms. Brooks convince Mr. Conklin to close the school on the hottest day of the year?
On a cross country drive, a young couple is deserted in the desolate desert heat in Suspense.

Well, I certainly had fun downloading and listening to the Christmas Bing collection, even during this summer season. Every so often I get these inexplicable nostalgia cravings, regardless of the time of year.
About seven years ago I found a 1953 Bing Crosby Christmas show -- What’s nice is that there are some song/arrangements that you don’t hear on other Crosby Christmas shows.
I’m puzzled as to why Crosby himself did not speak in the studio during the 1954 Best of All show with Irving Berlin, plugging the movie White Christmas. Maybe his contract with CBS prevented him from lengthy presentations on other networks? Who knows?
The 1947 Philco Radio Time was sharp- and clear-sounding. Best Regards.

I appreciate the excellent help during this hot season. I've ordered quite a bit of stuff in the past, and love it.
